Booking & Check-in

When booking Norm’s Farm you are booking the whole house which accommodates up to 6 adults (3 couples) at a time, there is also a kids room with a bunk (double at bottom, single bed on top) which is not lockable. If you are a couple only at the house, we kindly ask that only 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom be used during your stay.

Yes. However, as the property has a two-night minimum stay, a single night will be charged at the equivalent rate of a two-night stay. The inclusions remain the same.

Yes, but only either infants or children 6 years and above as the house and grounds are not suitable for toddlers.

Please note that children occupying a bed are counted towards the total guests allowed to stay at Norm’s Farm (total 9 guests).

Infants are not included in the headcount.

Yes, luggage can be dropped in at Barossa Helicopters reception, stored under constant video surveillance.

Barossa Helicopters is located 800 meters from Norm’s Farm, on the same property open daily from 10am-4pm. Outside these hours can be arranged upon request.

Our reception is located at the Barossa Helicopters Base, 800 meters up the road from Norms Farm. Reception is open from 10am-4pm daily. Please arrive here to check in. If outside these hours please notify management to arrange a suitable time.

Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 11am. The check-in location is Barossa Helicopters reception (261 Hoffnungsthal Road Lyndoch). Please arrive there to check in and pick up the key.

Norm’s Farm is the ideal location for those seeking uninterrupted privacy, located outside the town of Lyndoch on a 400 acre working farm consisting of vineyard, crops, cattle and horses. Norm’s Farm has no immediate neighbors. The spanning lush green lawn and views are breathtaking, with the back of the house overlooking beautiful vineyards and rolling hills.

All stays include one day’s worth of full breakfast provisions (although so generous that many enjoy these provisions over multiple mornings), linen, bathroom amenities, bath towels, free Wi-Fi, on-site parking, Nespresso coffee and much more! Please see inclusions for full list.

Yes, the property is an extremely tranquil place. Norm’s Farm is situated privately on the side of a country road outside of Lyndoch. During the day there is some light traffic and the occasional helicopter flying past, however, at night, it is very quiet. We ask guests to be mindful that Norm’s Farm is located at a working farm and vineyard. Therefore from time to time, there can be occasional machinery operating at night during vintage time (late Feb to early April).

No, it is not serviced daily. But Norm’s Farm is serviced before arrival and stocked with generous initial provisions.

No. Guests are not, under any circumstance, permitted to invite anyone onto the property who is not staying on the property with the exception of transportation and tour operators. (Unless prior approval has been granted by management)

Norm’s Farm is ideally located 6 minutes’ drive from the township of Lyndoch in the southern part of the Barossa Valley. Due to the scattered landscape of the Barossa, it is advisable to have car access during your stay to maximise your enjoyment of our world-renowned wine region.

Yes. The Lyndoch Friendly Grocer is in the center of Lyndoch. They have a great selection of local Barossa produce and are open 7 days a week.
